Zoe
Math/English/Test Prep
An NJ/NYC native, Zoe is a 2024 graduate of Northwestern University with degrees in both neuroscience and theater. Zoe brings a creative, interdisciplinary approach to her work, and of course, a whole lot of fun.
A Fulbright grantee, Zoe spent a year in Brazil conducting research on Theatre of the Oppressed, and adapting it for neurodivergent demographics. Her research has been presented and featured at universities such as Princeton and NYU. She speaks Portuguese, and is not too bad at samba (she likes to think she is slightly above average, but the jury is still out on this.) She also worked at several research labs during her time at Northwestern, studying everything from drosophila melanogaster neurology, to naive realism, to the psychology of dating.
Zoe has several years of SAT/ACT tutoring experience, and loves fostering a love for learning.
Zoe understands that many students need a cheerleader just as much as they need a tutor, and her positive, friendly demeanor goes a long way in helping them feel confident as they work towards their goals.
